We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friends, students, and colleagues that have expressed an interest in sharing their stories about Mr. Lucio at the Celebration. Unfortunately we will be limited by time constraints, so to accommodate the community, we are accepting your words of support via submissions on the Internet.

Be creative. You can write an email, upload a video, or even record an audio message. If you send your file (or a link to your submission) to LLScholarship1997@gmail.com, Mr. Lucio will definitely receive it. Also, if you want us to share your submission on http://LLScholarship.com/, please let us know. Anything not CLEARLY labeled “public”, will remain private. “Education is the path to success”

The Larry Lucio Scholarship was established in September of 1997.  This Scholarship is in recognition of the outstanding commitment that one of our own Humboldt High School graduates has had with our community, families, and Humboldt High School.

In order to apply for the Larry Lucio Scholarship for the 2012-2013 school year you must:

• Be a graduating high school senior from Humboldt High School, Guadalupe Area Program, Edison High School, Southwest High School, Harding High School, Henry Sibley High School, Roosevelt High School, Washburn High School, Highland Park High School and El Colegio Charter School.
• Have demonstrated community service and participation.
• Have been accepted to a higher education institution.

You are encouraged to request assistance in filling out this application from your school counselor, parent and/or community agency.

• Past Recipients  (1998-2012)
